i just want to say this one thing. . . .just hold on. . . .lemme. . . .THE CAJON IS THE MOST VERSATILE(SPELL?) HAND DRUM I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!! the fact of the matter is, i love hand drums. it's how i got into drumming period. therefore, i'd like to say i've played around with a lot of different percussive pieces. without a doubt, as far as a single drum goes, it kills the competition! everyone should check it out. there is little reason for congas and bongos anymore, atleast, in my opinion. snare on? snare off? which do you think? either way, cool. so next time you get a chance, pop a squat on a cajon and give it a tap or two.
