Metal drumming at it's finest.

What should we type in the search bar on youtube?

If you happen to have time to do it, I'd highly recommend going to YouTube and doing a search for "gravity blast" or "blast beats."

There are a bunch of videos, both amateur (mostly amateur) and professional quality of heavy metal drummers both good and not so good to check out there. The gravity blast videos happen to all be fairly good since most people won't even film themselves until they can get a decent gravity blast (those things are tough!).

Go for it and enjoy, ye heavy metalians!
It needs more double-bass...no...seriously...

I've seen some videos on YouTube before from the drummer of Vital Remains.

What's his name?..like Marcus...or Marco...somethin' like that?
Drums aren't loud...only drummers.

Marco Pitruzzella, he toured with Vital Remains for a bit. :)

So I'm no heavy metalian, but I youtubed 'gravity blast beat'... that's a lot of noise. I get what they are trying to accomplish, but you are correct in saying there are a lot of amateur versions of the blast beat out there. Is there one in particular that you recommend (or could provide a link to)?
